Struggle and strife
For the sake of
Comfort and calm.
Conflict
Is when the power and prestige of the elite
Clash
With the united will of the people
The cost of peace is high
Its value measured in blood
From the womb of war
peace is birthed
and like a phoenix grown old
Fragile and weak
Conflict from within sets it ablaze.
From the ashes of the dead
Forsaken
Peace
War
Has risen.

A tear of blood ran down his face.
For man, all pain and suffering had been absolved while for him, all pain and suffering he was about to bear.
The tears fled leaving only blood, blood of the world, blood of his.
His blood to shed for the world, his blood to shed until death so that life could be eternal.
