The right of way
I am that radical
I am that rebel
You saw me
At that day without
at that march
At that protest
Maybe even that riot
I won't tell you
I’ll let you decide
I am that radical
I am that rebel
You see me and go the other way
You hear me and are
Quick
To call me out my name
You know about me
You know of me
But you
Do not
Know me
I am that radical
I am that rebel
I go against tradition
I am the reason to break bonds
I am the reason
Big and mighty things
Are made low
Insignificantly small things set on high
You can try to kill me
But
I will always
And forever
live
I am that radical
I am that rebel
I do not fit the mold you try to put me in
I can not be shaped by your cookie cutter
I am not pretty
in fact I can be very ugly
It is not my intention to hurt
I’ll stop now
To you
I am cliché
I am that radical
I am that rebel
I am that undeniable truth
Looking into your soul
Putting a mirror in front of you
Screaming In the back of your mind
Silent on the tip of your tongue
I am that radical
I am that rebel
I am that truth
Are you Afraid of me.
